Yama is delighted to be performing their piece ‘Beneath Our Feet’, choreographed by Emily Brown on Saturday 20th July 2024 at 14:30 at the Bristol Dances Stage in Queen Square.
In creating ‘Beneath Our Feet’, Yama has been looking at the mycelium threads that lie beneath the ground – the vast kingdom of fungi network that sustain, connect and consume plant and animal life within their universe. Exploring this almost invisible world has inspired Yama’s latest piece and devised together with choreographer Emily Brown, their performance celebrates community, nature, resilience and connection through dance.
